Purchasing Specialist – Rotable and Repairable Parts & Components, Commercial Aircraft

Product purchasing specialist for the Company’s global Sales and Distribution Network.

The successful applicant will have hands-on, direct experienced in locating, cost, market price and buying aircraft components together with excellent product knowledge and  established contacts with airlines, MROs and parts organizations

Skills shall include proficiency in (i) assessing cost and market values of components, (ii) Aircraft Parts Inventory Management & MS Excel workstation programs, (ii) researching and sourcing within the global market, (iii) efficiently accomplishing numerous transactions day by day, (iv) competent oral/written communication and (v) quality interaction with colleagues, senior sales and management personnel.

Education and Experience:

  • College subjects completed, fitting to the position; good analytical math and articulate skills to achieve and close transactions.
  • Experience in an airline or MRO aircraft repair maintenance and/or aircraft parts product support environment.
  • Strong purchasing expertise.
  • Organization and interpersonal skills; transacting within time frames while simultaneously overseeing numerous purchase  requirements
