Regional Sales Manager

Ansett Aircraft Spares & Services (AASS) is offering an opportunity for a seasoned aviation spares sales professional.

The position of Regional Sales Manager will drive business development and revenue build in the assigned territory. You will have a minimum of 7 years of industry experience with an established client base and key contacts throughout the aviation marketplace.

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for major accounts covering Airlines, MRO’s and Leasing companies. The incumbent will be responsible for increasing sales through managing AASS’ distribution channels and building relationships with aviation professionals. A superior knowledge of sales techniques, and customer relationship management with a proven track record are minimum requirements.

The position requires the analysis of current & potential market segments for growth opportunities. Typical assignments include – Aircraft spares support and Major Rotable specific project management, new account penetration, client development through site visits, and developing proactive territory specific sales programs. The Sales Manager will develop appropriate strategies by linking various AASS product lines to satisfy customers’ needs. Self-regulation, independent thinking and problem solving skills are essential.

Experience & Educational requirements:

  • The successful candidate will possess 7 to 10 years of sales experience in the aviation industry.
  • The candidate must possess the ability to direct activities of other sales professionals.
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Business/Marketing is an asset.
  • Must be capable of conducting in-depth product discussions with purchasing and aviation maintenance personnel.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer skills essential, specifically MS Office applications.
